OBJECTIVE To design a brochure that tells the story of 916 Ink to potential donors, investors and partners. It should align with 916 Ink's spirt and invoke positivity and a whimsical feeling. 916 Ink is a nonprofit youth program providing literacy workshops.
STRATEGY The bright blue color was chosen to coordinate with the organization's bright green logo. The division of content clearly explains the organization's mission, purpose and impact. Photos of the student authors and volunteers create a positive, uplifting mood, while the design playfully weaves in and out of each section in a whimsical manner. Many of the photos were removed from busy backgrounds to create powerful focal points.
